YRKE – Dining Table with Bench, Walnut Wood

YRKE is a dining set made from solid walnut, distinguished by its deep, rich colour and pronounced natural grain. The furniture’s simple, geometric form makes the set a versatile choice for interiors designed in a modern classic, minimalist, or contemporary style.

Instead of traditional chairs, the set features a backless bench. This keeps the tabletop fully exposed, giving the entire arrangement a light and uncluttered appearance. This solution works particularly well in smaller spaces, where maintaining a sense of visual openness is especially important.

The wood surface is finished with a matte lacquer or oil, depending on the selected version. This protects the material from everyday use while enhancing the natural texture and grain of the wood. The design focuses primarily on the quality of the material and the simplicity of the form, without unnecessary decorative elements.

Using a bench instead of chairs also offers practical benefits. The seat can be easily tucked under the table, helping to keep the space organised and allowing for more comfortable movement around the furniture. The surface is finished with a durable hardwax oil that helps protect the wood from moisture and stains while preserving its natural, tactile texture. If needed, the finish can be refreshed, allowing the furniture to maintain its beautiful appearance for many years.
